Took a two weeks trip to Southern France (Cote D’azur) for my birthday this year. It was a much needed break from an over-worked year. I visited some places where I’ve never been before in France, but also shopped a lot and gained a couple kilos!!
Won’t be long, I am posting you just a few mobile shots I took here and there in France, somewhere between Cannes and Monaco. And leaving you with a few recommendations in case you’re planning to go there.
-Do visit Cannes, even if it is not the high season, it’s a breathtaking high street sea strip to walk
-Never miss on Monaco. Period.
-Do shop in Nice and Cannes, but focus on the high street. High fashion is priced the same everywhere. Good bargains are more on the high street level. Drop by the concept stores as well; there’s a lot of those in Cannes -Rue D’Antibes-.
-Take long walks and take the train; you don’t want to miss the view.
-Visit old towns and medieval villages, it’s priceless to get in touch with history.
-Don’t miss on everything “Fragonard” in Grasse, especially the perfume museum and factory.
-Forget your diet.
At Cannes, I shopped at Sephora, here’s the review for my top favorites:
