I admit! I do cheat… And even though I have big sponsors for my diet and fitness section, I do cheat on it at times. But the most important part of the story, is that I prefer to make it count! I do cheat, and it’s freakin’ worth it every time.
I will be putting up posts from now on to share with you my cheats, my one and more escapes from my diet and newly healthy lifestyle! But beware, I will only be sharing the foods and venue I will want YOU to cheat with as well… No good food, no cheating.
This last month I decided to make my cheats go all around Lebanese, Armenian, Japanese and all American food. Four venues made me sin.
1- Kahwet Leila Hamra: Here, you will have to sin, because Lebanese food is simply irresistible. Whether home made, or the very next best which is Kahwet Leila; nothing is worth a couple more calories than those all Lebanese Mezza and platters. Try anything with cherry or cherry sauce.
2- BRGR CO: Well, bad news dieters; this place with a whole new range of appetizers and great burgers now delivers. I am sorry for you, for me, and for our diets. Do not miss the appetizers.
3- Yabani: Whether sur place, or delivered in cool boats; you will be eating the healthy sushi in absolutely ridiculously unhealthy quantities. Sashimi, duh!
4- Batchig by Mayrig: Great Armenian food, which is not necessarily fattening; but well, quite beyond my allowed calories. Try the Kishna and definitely the Mante.
